Students who resided at the Rafflesia apartment in University Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) were shocked when they found a crocodile on their roads.
The 2-metre long beast was reported to be crossing a road when it was spotted by a student, reports World of Buzz.
Assistant Operations Director of Fire and Rescue Department Sarawak (JBPM), Farhan Sufian Borhan said that his department was alerted at about 10.26pm yesterday (Jan 17) by residents who feared for their safety.
However when officials arrived at the scene, they could not find the crocodile.
Farhan added that the case has been referred to the Sarawak Forestry Corporation which will continue searching for the crocodile.
