A van overturned in Tampines on Sept 17.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) told Stomp it was alerted to a road traffic accident near the junction of Tampines Street 71 and Tampines Street 72 at around 9.55pm.

Two people were assessed by an SCDF paramedic for minor injuries, but declined to be sent to hospital.

Stomper Roger shared photos and videos showing the van in front of a bus stop near Block 734 Tampines Street 71.

The vehicle can be seen overturned on its side and mounting a road divider.

The accident had also drawn a crowd of onlookers.

Roger said: "One stretch of Tampines Street 71 was closed. Bus service 293 was affected and had to skip one bus stop."

SBS Transit, which posted about the skip, said at 11.55pm that bus service 293/293T had resumed normal operations.
