A 29-year-old driver was taken to hospital after an accident involving five cars along the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) towards Woodlands on Wednesday (Dec 2).
The police said they were alerted to the accident at 4.51pm.
The car driver was conscious when taken to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.
A Stomper, who had been travelling on a bus, shared a video of the accident scene and said there was a "massive jam".
In a tweet at 5.40pm, the Land Transport Authority said there was a congestion till the Kranji Expressway exit. Motorists were advised to avoid the second and third lanes of the BKE.
Police investigations are ongoing.
