A 30-year-old man was arrested after causing a rowdy scene at Block 508 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 8 in the wee hours of Tuesday (Dec 10).
Stomper Rasyid, a resident in the vicinity, said he heard a loud commotion at around 1.45am and later saw a male subject being taken away in a police car.
He told Stomp: "People were making a lot of noise after drinking.
"There were four to five police cars at the scene."
In response to a Stomp query, the police said they received a call for assistance at 12.30am.
"A 30-year-old man was subsequently arrested for causing annoyance when drunk under the Liquor Control Act," said a police spokesman, adding that investigations are ongoing.
Rasyid described the incident as a "norm" and said something like this occurs at the block "four to five times per month".
