A 29-year-old man was taken to hospital after a chain collision involving four cars, three taxis and a motorcycle along the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) on Friday (Dec 28).
The pile-up occurred in the direction of Tuas, after the Paya Lebar exit.
In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at 5.06pm.
The motorcyclist was conscious when taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
Photos taken by a member of the Stomp Team show paramedics attending to the motorcyclist, who was lying on a stretcher by the roadside.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) told Stomp it was alerted to the accident at 5.10pm.
Police investigations are ongoing.
