New driver 'traumatised' after cyclist appears from blind spot and dashes across road

A driver was travelling along MacPherson Road on Friday night (Sep 3) when she had a near-accident with a reckless cyclist.

The cyclist, who had been hidden from view by a bus on the rightmost lane, had suddenly appeared from the blind spot and rode across the road to reach the leftmost lane.

Stomper Shini shared a video of the close shave she had with the cyclist.

Shini recounted: "This cyclist abruptly dashed across in the middle of the road, wearing a probation plate.

"As a new driver, I felt traumatised and afraid to drive again after this incident.

"Please raise awareness and make sure these idiots don't repeat such behaviour again."
