Stomper Lau Lup came across a lizard feasting on a grasshopper along a park connector at Ang Mo Kio Street 53 this morning (Jan 5).
He identified the reptile as a changeable lizard (also known as the oriental garden lizard) and did some online research about it.
Active during the day, the animal can be found in bushes and trees at parks as well as in urban areas.
Lau Lup added:
"The grasshopper was still alive but I don't think it made it.
"'Danger' lurks in places where it is seemingly peaceful."
