Stomper Elan was driving along North Bridge Road before Arab Street at around 7pm yesterday (Apr 25) when he came across an UberEATS deliveryman riding a skateboard on the road.
Under the law, skateboards are considered a personal mobility device (PMD) and they are not allowed for use on the roads. PMD's can only be used on footpaths and cycling or shared paths.
Said the Stomper:
"The delivery guy was using a skateboard on the road during a rush hour.
"This is not the first time I've seen this happen.
"Riders commonly go against the flow of traffic and they don't dismount at pedestrian crossings."
