Singapore has a reputation for being one of the cleanest countries in the world.
Though people probably would not think so if they came across the same sight as Stomper May.
May spotted a heap of rubbish of litter lying on the ground at Pagoda Street in Chinatown, a prime tourist attraction, which she says is a common occurrence.
She sent in photos showing empty cups and bottles, half-finished drinks, plastic bags and paper in a pile on the floor.
She said:
"I would like to address the issue of cleanliness at Pagoda Street, which I pass by every day as I am working nearby.
"Rubbish is always lying around and seen everywhere, from day to night. Nobody seems to clear it.
"How is Singapore one of the cleanest countries in the world?"
